Frida Mollel

Frida Mollel is a seasoned conservationist and community outreach expert with over 20 years of experience working at the intersection of environmental conservation and community development.

She currently serves as the Community Engagement and Outreach Officer at Women in Nature Network-Tanzania (WiN-TZ), where she leads efforts to strengthen grassroots participation in conservation through events, workshops, and capacity-building programs. Frida has held prominent positions throughout her career, including Head of Training and Community Empowerment with the Swedish Cooperative Centre – Vi Agroforestry Program and Senior Program Officer with Cross-Cultural Solutions. Her expertise spans participatory forest and wildlife management, environmental impact assessments, natural resource governance, and sustainable livelihood initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture, a Master of Arts in Natural Resource Assessment and Management from the Open University of Tanzania, and an MBA from the African Leadership University School of Business. Recognized as one of Africa’s distinguished Women Conservation Leaders, Frida continues to be a powerful advocate for community-led conservation and inclusive environmental stewardship.
