Dr. Happiness Anold Moshi
Dr. Moshi is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Aquatic Sciences. She holds a PhD in Aquatic Sciences, MSc in Marine Sciences, and a BSc in Aquatic Environmental Science & Conservation, all from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
She has contributed significantly to the fields of aquatic resources, environmental monitoring, and conservation. She has participated in both national and international research programs, collaborating with a wide range of freshwater and marine stakeholders, as well as coastal communities.
Dr. Moshi has a proven track record in developing successful grant proposals focused on freshwater ecosystem protection, fisheries, water quality monitoring, aquatic pollution, citizen science, and community-based conservation. Her work also emphasizes climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies, natural resource vulnerability, and the socioeconomics of aquatic resource management. She also serves as a lecturer at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), where she inspires and mentors the next generation of environmental scientists.
She is skilled in research project leadership, supervision, public speaking, and academic writing. Dr. Moshi has published extensively in international scientific peer-reviewed journals, making significant contributions to the field.
