Research and Advocacy

we promote evidence-based conservation by combining scientific research with policy engagement. Our work focuses on generating data that addresses biodiversity loss, climate change, and sustainable natural resource use while highlighting the roles and rights of women and local communities.

We translate research into practical policy recommendations and engage with decision-makers to ensure that conservation strategies are inclusive, just, and grounded in science. By participating in policy dialogues and contributing to environmental legislation, we help shape policies that work for both people and nature.

We also advocate for greater representation of women and youth in science and policy spaces believing that diverse voices lead to stronger and more sustainable outcomes.

Through partnerships with researchers, institutions, and communities, WiN-Tanzania bridges the gap between knowledge and action.
