Dr. Atupelye Komba is a dedicated scientist whose research focuses on the applications of GIS and remote sensing in ecology and environmental monitoring. She is particularly interested in developing spatial and socio-ecological indicators to monitor environmental change, land use dynamics, and conservation outcomes. With a strong commitment to environmental sustainability,

she integrates geospatial technologies to assess ecosystem health and support evidence-based decision-making. She is also a lecturer at Ardhi University in the Department of Geospatial Sciences and Technology.
