Catherine Fridolin

Catherine is a co-founder and the Program Manager at Women in Nature Network-Tanzania (WiN-TZ). She is a dedicated marine scientist with over five years of experience in marine conservation, specializing in mangrove restoration and seaweed farming. Catherine has worked extensively on community-driven projects that promote environmental sustainability, particularly in coastal and marine ecosystems. Her expertise spans across the restoration of mangrove ecosystems and the development of sustainable livelihoods through seaweed farming.

As Program Manager at WiN-TZ Catherine leads the organization’s initiatives aimed at empowering women and youth in conservation, with a focus on advocating for sustainable practices and policy change. She is committed to integrating science, community engagement, and climate resilience into conservation efforts that have a lasting impact on both local communities and the environment.
