Women in Nature Tanzania (WiN-TZ) commemorated World Environment Day 2025 by participating in a joint event organized in partnership with NIPE FAGIO and AIESEC. The activities included a symposium on June 5th at the University of Dar es Salaam under the global theme “Ending Plastic Pollution,” where WiN-TZ was featured as a panel speaker. This symposium brought together stakeholders from government, academia, civil society, and the private sector to discuss strategies for tackling plastic pollution in Tanzania. It was followed by a beach cleanup on June 7th. These collaborative activities demonstrate our shared commitment to inclusive action for a cleaner, healthier environment.
